To understand ideas, concerns and aspirations for the Heathway we’ve been hosting a series of community conversations. The first took place in the Heathway Shopping Centre during November and saw the team collecting ideas on a Heathway Christmas tree alongside Santa Claus and his reindeer! The second event was a pop-up stall outside Heathway Station, and finally, we hosted an ideas wall at the Dagenham library. In total, we had over 300 conversations and recorded over 400 insights!

Wherever we set up, the response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive, with everybody keen to share the good, the bad and their future hopes for the Heathway. All the insights gathered from this stage will be captured within a Mural by a local artist and go on to inform the next step in the development of a community vision for the Heathway.
